- Helen Esdale Added September 20, 2022★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Terrible terrible service. Wayne Manion came to investigate an underground pipe that was leaking in a corner of my yard in winter 2021. Told me it was a storm water drain that was cracked by tree roots. Water was diverted outside the yard to allow the ground to dry out. Said he would come back to fix it in Sept/Oct 2021.
Fast forward til June 2022. Multiple phone calls to tell them about the water still pouring out the back of my property (neighbours and council complaining). Receptionist answers and says she will find out what is happening and then no-one ever calls back. Eventually I realised that they had no intention of ever fixing my pipe (I was happy to be patient thinking they had more important jobs to do). I also realised that they didn't have the decency to tell me that.
So I got Grant Chugg to come and look. The first time they came to investigate it they fixed it. They also discovered it was fresh water that had been pouring out of the back of my property and that there was a tap underground there to turn it off! Literally thousands and thousands of litres of water down the drain over the last 12 months. And no, it wasn't from my water meter.
